Artist Statement

While tangled in threads and amid snippets of fabric free floating all around her studio, Nancy Kaschmitter of Fernandina Beach, FL creates imaginative art wear, fiber art quilts, and altered couture jackets.  Nancy’s thread-painted faces, interesting figures, beads, fiber and embellishments are all part of her manipulation of scrumptious fabric into new and exciting art creations.
