Artist Statement |
| |
Having been an artist since I was a teenager I have found that I enjoy using small components to form an object. I started my career as an abstract painter and then discovered beads. I have used beads to create sculpture, beadwoven jewelry and to bead embroider textiles. The colors talk to me. I feel as though I am cooking up a new and delicious dish while I work. I am delighted and inspired by the beautiful island where I live and by my many artist friends.
